Rajeev grew up in Kolkata, India and moved to America at the ripe old age of 18. He graduated from Don Bosco High School, Liluah and went to Montana State University in Bozeman where he received his Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance and became Raj. After completing his education, he worked as a bookkeeper for a small advertising firm in Bozeman. In 2014, he was hired by a local Alaska firm that specialized in government and non-profit audits. It was during his time as an auditor that he traveled all over Alaska. He is of the opinion that Sitka is the most beautiful place in Alaska.

After a few years as an auditor, Raj accepted a position at a local tax firm as a tax preparer in 2017. While working at the tax firm, he gained his CPA license. After 5 seasons as a tax preparer, he decided to start his own practice to help his family and friends.

Raj specializes in helping small business owners organize their finances and help them live their best life. He understands that small business owners have other things that are more important than filing taxes and strategizing with various scenarios. His mission is to help people make smart financial decisions and be in control of their finances. He is genuinely excited when he is talking about finances and taxes. He believes that he can utilize his expertise to help small business owners navigate tax laws to their advantage.

In his spare time, Raj loves spending time with his lovely wife, Emily. He is an avid skier and hiker and loves to push himself physically. He also loves his family who all reside in India and Portland, OR. He is an all around positive guy who believes that he is living beyond his wildest dreams every day in the greatest country on the planet.

“Kelly grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, and is proud to call it home. He graduated from West Anchorage High School in 2021 and shortly thereafter moved to San Diego, California, to pursue a bachelor’s degree in accounting at San Diego State University. In spring 2025, he graduated with his bachelor’s, achieving his first major career milestone, and has since pivoted toward obtaining his CPA license as his next goal. With Raj’s professional guidance and support, he is confident in his ability to reach this milestone. Kelly is highly enthusiastic to begin his role as an associate at Tax One, looks forward to meeting everyone he will have the pleasure of working with, and is committed to providing the highest quality of service to every client.

Outside of his professional ambitions, Kelly draws inspiration from his Alaskan roots, which instilled in him a lifelong love of the outdoors. Growing up surrounded by nature, he regularly participates in activities such as fishing, hiking, camping, snowboarding, wakesurfing, and snowmobiling. During his time in San Diego, he also developed a passion for surfing and skateboarding. An avid sports enthusiast, Kelly has followed professional sports since before he could walk, with American football, baseball, and tennis among his favorites.

Kelly is excited to join the firm this winter and is eager to contribute meaningfully to its continued success.”
